Quinoa Breakfast Porridge

  • ½ cup or more cooked quinoa, warmed (how to make basic quinoa)

  • ½ to 1 cup milk of choice (nut milk or coconut milk)

  • ½ cup or more fruit of choice (berries, chopped apple, pear, banana, or mango)

  • Optional add-ons: nuts,coconut flakes, cinnamon or nutmeg

  • Optional sweetener: raw unfiltered honey


  1. In a bowl, combine warmed quinoa with milk

  2. Top with fruit, nuts, seeds, and sweetener if desired


  • Mix and match variety of fruit, nuts, seeds

  • Use red, white, or tri-colored quinoa (I prefer red quinoa as it’s more nutty)
