Baked Wild Lemon Herb Cod

  • 4 cod filets

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or ghee

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon oregano

  • half teaspoon thyme

  • half teaspoon rosemary

  • sea salt and pepper to taste


  • Place cod fillets in a 13 x 9 baking dish

  • In a small mixing bowl combine: 1 tablespoon oil, juice from half a lemon, minced garlic, oregano, rosemary, thyme, sea salt, and pepper

  • Pour the mixture evenly on top of the fish 

  • Place the lemon slices on top of the fish

  • Move fillets to a 13 x 9 baking dish

  • Place in the oven for 15 minutes until fish is opaque, but soft, tender, and juicy


  • If you have time, let fish and seasonings marinate in the refrigerator for an hour to soak up the juices
