Sautéed Green Beans

  • 1 1b of Green Beans

  • 1 tablespoon lemon

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1-2 tablespoons Bragg Liquid Aminos (note, the liquid aminos is very strong, so pour slowly until desired taste)

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt (to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon Pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: Slivered almonds


  • Wash green beans and drain with colander

  • Mince the garlic

  • Pour coconut oil in large skillet over a medium-low heat and add the minced garlic. Stir until garlic lightly browns

  • Place washed green beans in skillet

  • Add the Bragg Liquid Aminos and lemon and stir until evenly coated

  • Cover the green beans and sauté for 5 minutes or until desired consistency (I prefer my string beans be semi crunchy)

  • Sprinkle sea salt and pepper

  • Place in bowl and serve!


  • Can add sliced almonds for extra crunch!
