Welcome! I’m Talya and I am so excited for you to begin your health and wellness journey.

My journey has taught me that it IS possible to lead a more fulfilled life. You can do it by embracing behavior that fosters balance and moderation and by treating your body with the love and respect it deserves. Together we CAN and WILL develop simple, progressive steps to add nourishment to all aspects of your life—the physical, the emotional, and the spiritual—to help you achieve sustainable health and wellness goals.

I have always been passionate about health and wellness; they were values deeply ingrained at an early age. However, as is true for many people in this fast-paced world, there was a point in my life when my career posed challenges to living a healthy life. Prior to becoming a Health Coach, I was an Event Coordinator who dealt with a demanding schedule and long, odd hours. The hospitality field is fast-paced, and attention to detail is key. There were many stressful days and restless nights. It was difficult to find time to be with family and friends.

Thankfully, I realized the importance of taking care of myself so that I can be my best self in every aspect of my life. It would have been easier to choose TV instead of a workout, to skip meals because I was too busy with clients or paperwork, and to mindlessly eat the junk food that was readily available, especially during the holiday season. Instead, I made it a priority to go to the gym or do yoga early in the morning or later in the evening. I prepared lunches at home or purchased a healthy meal at a restaurant near work. I scheduled time with my family and friends.

It was a challenging journey, but I learned that it is possible to live in this busy world and still maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Our lives can and should be filled with joy, love, energy, nourishment, relaxation, passion and fun! I became a Health Coach because I want to share what I’ve learned with others.

I love being a health coach and especially enjoy guiding my clients on a journey towards a healthier, more balanced life.  I can help you to learn to listen to your body and what it craves:  physically, mentally and emotionally.  You will take small steps towards your intended goals.  This program is truly transformative, and the goal is small steps towards progressive transformation.
